Ethanol Yield Enhancement Technology by Hydro Dynamics to be Presented at Advanced Biofuels Conference
Rome, GA (PRWEB) October 10, 2014 -- Ethanol yield enhancement technology by Hydro Dynamics, Inc. (HDI) will be presented at the Advanced Biofules Conference & Expo in Minneapolis, MN, October 13-14, 2014. Dr. Dennis Bayrock, of strategic partner Phibro Ethanol Performance Group, will deliver a talk entitled, “Cavitation for Today's Ethanol Plant: More than Just Extra Starch and Ethanol”. The talk will detail the ability of the ShockWave Power Technology (SPR) to not only increase ethanol yield, but also reduce viscosity. The use of cavitation will also be briefly discussed for cellulosic ethanol, biogas and biodiesel.
In ethanol yield enhancement the SPR technology uses the pressure fluctuations produced by controlled cavitation to liberate entrapped starch and sugar from corn, making them more available for conversion to ethanol during the fermentation process. HDI has partnered with Phibro Ethanol Performance Group to market our SPR cavitation technology to the ethanol industry. To learn more about our ethanol efforts go to our website.
