Child Nutritionist K. Yarker’s “Preventing Picky Eating” Webinar Back by Popular Demand
Seattle, WA (PRWEB) October 13, 2014 -- On Tuesday, October 14th from 8:00 pm to 9:30 pm PDT, registered dietitian and accomplished child-feeding expert Kristen Yarker will be sharing her proven strategies for stopping children’s picky eating in a complimentary, live, online webinar titled, “Preventing Picky Eating: 3 Common Causes and Successful Strategies.”
When she was asked who should attend the webinar, Kristen Yarker, MSc, RD replied, “This invitation is for the moms and dads of toddlers and preschoolers who are worried that their child isn’t receiving the proper nutrition needed due to a limited range of foods that he or she is willing to eat.”
When Yarker first offered the webinar this past July, parents from across North America readily joined in. Since then, she has received continuous requests to share her successful picky eating tips again in a repeat webinar.
Yarker encourages parents to attend the webinar to learn what causes toddlers and preschoolers to become picky eaters and how to support their children to try new foods on their own. It will also include steps to take to ensure that children are getting the nutrition they need – without being forceful or sneaky.
In the webinar, Yarker will address common situations that parents of toddlers and preschoolers experience, including strategies for how to:
• Stop negotiations at the table for eating two more bites
• Influence kids to choose healthy foods on their own
• Instill a lifelong enjoyment of healthy eating
• Reduce food wasted as a result of children refusal to eat
Pre-registration is required for the webinar, which can be completed online at http://kristenyarker.com/PreventPickyEatingInvitation. Yarker will also be recording the webinar for parents who pre-register but aren’t able to attend the live event.
Yarker added that she originally created the webinar to provide parents of 2 – 5 year olds with access to her proven, child-based strategies for developing food-friendly habits and attitudes, all from the convenience of their own home and without the burden of hiring a babysitter.
