&yet to demonstrate visual representation of voice menus integrated with BroadSoft UC-One
Scottsdale, AZ (PRWEB) October 14, 2014 -- &yet, a leading developer of real-time communications software and applications, today announced it has partnered with BroadSoft® to develop an innovative application that integrates BroadSoft’s UC-One® unified communications services with voice interactive voice menus (IVR) for real-time and dynamic interaction.
By seamlessly integrating UC-One with both traditional IVR and web communications, website visitors can directly connect to the correct group within an organization, without the need to wade through a menu of options, speeding access to their desired contact and a creating a more enjoyable experience.
This application utilizes the new interfaces provided by BroadSoft Labs to dynamically generate a visual representation of a traditional IVR menu and allow for the automatic update of the available selections based upon the user and current call center status. Using these selections, the caller is then able to complete a voice and video connection using WebRTC directly to the appropriate call center agent.
“When someone calls customer support, there's either a problem or an opportunity for the business. Making it simple and easy for customers to get the help they need has impact on the bottom line," said Adam Brault, CEO & co-founder at &yet. "IVR Systems were built for the telephone era. Today, when customers want help, they go to the web, not an 800 number. With BroadSoft APIs and WebRTC technology, we can supercharge the customer support experience to incorporate both audio communications and the web.”
"Our goal for BroadSoft Labs is to enable the quick development and delivery of innovative applications that leverage emerging technologies, such as WebRTC, to integrate other applications with our unified communications services," said Scott Hoffpauir, chief technology officer, BroadSoft. "Our interfaces allow &yet, as a web application developer, to bring together two unique communications applications into a single web interface to offer visitors to a website a more efficient and satisfying experience."
&yet will demonstrate this application at BroadSoft Connections 2014: Power Up being held in Scottsdale, Arizona October 12th – 15th.
