New York, NY (PRWEB) October 13, 2014 -- Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Songwriters’ Hall of Fame inductee Neil Diamond will be at it again in early 2015, as he will be touring all across North America. The 73-year-old native of Brooklyn, NY recently announced the stops he will be making on the “Neil Diamond World Tour 2015,” which will begin on Feb. 27th in Allentown, PA at the PPL Center and will run through May 31st with a stop at the Pepsi Center in Denver, CO. In between, Diamond will also make stops at venues in Canada and Mexico.
The 2015 tour will be held to lend support to the legendary musician’s latest album, Melody Road, which will be released on Oct. 21st. The album will be first since 2010 when he released Dreams. The album reached the top 10 on the album charts in the United States, but was his second straight album to not earn Gold or Platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America. Prior to those albums, Diamond had released 26 consecutive albums that had sold at least 500,000 copies. Among his most popular albums include The Jazz Singer, a soundtrack that earned Platinum certification five times with more than five million copies sold, as well as other albums that earned Platinum certification twice including You Don't Bring Me Flowers, The Christmas Album, I'm Glad You're Here With Me Tonight, and Jonathan Livingston Seagull.
When Diamond heads to your local venue, his diehard fans will hope to hear him perform many of his most popular singles. During his career, he has seen 10 singles reach the top of the American charts and fans will hope to hear these classics including “Cracklin' Rosie," "You Don't Bring Me Flowers," "If You Know What I Mean," "Song Sung Blue," "I've Been This Way Before," "Heartlight," "Desiree," "America," “Longfellow Serenade," "Yesterday's Songs," and "I'm a Believer."
Diamond will travel to many of the largest markets in North America for shows next winter and spring. Among the stops he will make include the United Center in Chicago, IL; The Palace of Auburn Hills in Detroit, MI; Pepsi Live Arena at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence, RI; Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, CA.; American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX, Sports Palace in Mexico City, Mexico and SAP Center at San Jose in San Jose, CA.
