Satcom Direct now has an office at Dassault Aircraft Services’ Wilmington, DE, location to support both MRO and completions clients.

The new on-site office allows Satcom Direct to assist both Dassault Falcon Jet and their mutual customers on the installation, configuration and functional check of the aircraft’s communications systems.

“By being on site, we can ensure aircraft operators have the best combination of services for their mission,” said Jim Jensen, Satcom Direct founder and CEO. “When the aircraft leaves Wilmington, the flight team will return to their home base with expanded knowledge and capabilities relating to their SATCOM systems.”

Dassault Falcon Jet and Satcom Direct work together to complete a full function/operational check-out, system setup and custom configuration for client aircraft. This includes nose to tail communications from datalink, to voice, to internet and airborne television. Having Satcom Direct onsite at ILG, partnering with the Dassault team, enables both companies to leverage each other’s experience and expertise to give Falcon operators an even better ownership experience.

In addition to determining that software and systems are up-to-date and functioning properly, training and troubleshooting support includes:

  • SATCOM communications diagnosis and issue resolution

  • System maintenance and operational training
