Aegis Energy Services, Inc Cogeneration Video Accepted for Viewing on EPA Site
Holyoke, MA (PRWEB) October 15, 2014 -- An informational video commissioned by Aegis Energy Services, Inc that showcases the features and benefits of Combined Heat and Power systems has been accepted by the Environmental Protection Agency as an educational resource for its website.
The three-minute “impact movie” outlines the advantages of an Aegis-installed Combined Heat and Power system specifically focusing on the benefits of lower energy costs, reduction in a building’s carbon footprint, and reduced dependence on the grid.
The video succinctly recalls the history of cogeneration, going back to 1882 when Thomas Edison used the technology as the core of the world’s first commercial power plant. Aegis has updated that same technology and made it modular, compact, and affordable.
“Our goal for the video was to design a piece that would give the viewer a good understanding of what CHP is, where the technology came from and how building owners and managers are using the technology to save money,” said Dale Desmarais, Director of Sales and Marketing for Aegis. “Additionally, the video has an extremely valuable function that allows the viewer to easily forward this three minute piece to others in their organization that they feel would benefit from the information.”
The video will be housed on the EPA’s Combined Heat and Power Partnership page accessible through http://epa.gov/chp/partnership/partners/aegisenergyservicesinc.html
