Mobility Electronics Systems and Technologies and Relevant Networking Opportunities will be on Display at SAE International Convergence
WARRENDALE, Pa. (PRWEB) October 13, 2014 -- A wide variety of technical topics and relevant presentations are on the agenda for the SAE 2014 Convergence, which will be held Oct. 21-22 at Cobo Center in Detroit.
For decades, the SAE Convergence has brought together technology leaders from across the Globe to address the impact of electronics systems and the issues critical to mobility electronics implementation. This year’s event features a compelling line-up focusing on the most relevant issues surrounding electronics technology.
This year’s event will feature a theme of “Evolving the Customer Experience through the Transformation of Electronics.” Host Company is Chrysler Group LLC. Some highlights of the event include:
• Ralph V. Gilles, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) - Motorsports, Chrysler Group LLC, and Senior Vice President - Product Design, Chrysler Group LLC, will serve as the Opening Keynote Speaker for the 40th annual SAE Convergence. He will speak at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 21 in Grand Ballroom B.
• Ulrich Homann, Chief Architect, WW Enterprise Services, Microsoft Corporation will serve as the Banquet Keynote Speaker on Wednesday, Oct. 22, 7-9:30 p.m. in Grand Ballroom B.
• The Freescale Cup – an autonomous, intelligent race car competition in which teams are challenged to build, program, and race a model car around a track for speed. The fastest car to complete the track without derailing, wins.
• Young Professional Activities – exciting programs and activities designed to inform, encourage and motivate the leaders of tomorrow; including speed mentoring, which provides an opportunity for young professionals to engage with executives in an informal setting
