Third Party Administrator Introduces Video Series on Cost Containment Strategies for Employee Benefits

Cypress Benefit Administrators recently added a new video series to its website that focuses on cost-saving strategies for self-funded employee benefit plans. The videos are based on presentations from the company’s 2014 Cypress University event and serve as an educational resource on topics ranging from stop loss insurance and employee wellness programs to telemedicine and dialysis cost control.

A third party administrator (TPA) serving employer-clients in all 50 states, Cypress Benefit Administrators has added a new video series to its website that provides helpful insights for containing the rising costs of employee benefits.

The nine videos feature presentations from the TPA’s annual Cypress University conference held in Las Vegas earlier this year, and focus on topics that relate to savings strategies for self-funded employee benefit plans.

Tom Doney, Cypress president and CEO, explained that all spots for Cypress University 2014 quickly filled when registration first opened, and these videos were created as a resource to recap the valuable information that was covered during the two-day event.

“Cypress University is unique in that it brings together some of the top minds in the self-funded industry to discuss important topics each year,” Doney said. “We created this video series so that others could benefit from all of the knowledge shared and get ideas for implementing their own cost-saving strategies."

The series includes a highlights video and a presentation on the basics of building a self-funded plan. It also features a panel discussion featuring Cypress clients and their experiences in working with the TPA. Other video presentations include:
