President Wiggins to Speak at Inc. 5000 National Conference
St. Bonifacius, MN (PRWEB) October 14, 2014 -- Dr. Joel Wiggins, President of Crown College located near Minneapolis, MN, will serve as a featured panelist at the acclaimed Inc. 5000 Conference & Awards Ceremony in Phoenix on October 16. The three-day event honoring the fastest-growing private companies in the country also features expert sessions, celebrity entrepreneurs, and an award ceremony. Keynote speakers for this year’s event include CEOs Michael Dell (Dell), Kip Tindell (The Container Store), Hamdi Ulukaya (Chobani), and others.
Dr. Wiggins and two other experts will form a panel to address the topic of Exit Strategies: How to Finish Big. Dr. Wiggins was asked to participate because of insights gained from his research of 90 entrepreneurs who founded and sold their companies for between $50 million and $500 million. He is authoring a book on the subject which is scheduled for release in 2015. The project was funded in part by the Ewing M. Kauffman Foundation.

Prior to his recent accession as President of Crown College in 2013, Dr. Wiggins served as CEO of the Enterprise Center of Johnson County (KS) and the Austin Technology Incubator (TX). He also co-founded the Mid-America Angels Investments, LLC.
