(PRWEB) October 27, 2014 -- New to Packline Materials Handling and Ultrasource LLC, is the large adjustable cradle attachment for lifting and handling large rolls of film or foil; ideal for the food and drinks processing industries, as well as pharmaceutical industries. This bespoke lifting attachment enables the operator to lift and move very long rolls using a shaft through the core of the roll.

The rolls were in excess of 200kg, meaning that the cradle attachment needed to be well supported in order to support the load being lifted.
In order to achieve this, stainless steel back plates and skid plates were added to the assembly to increase the rigidity and strength overall.
The attachment arms can support a shaft of up to 130mm diameter, giving the cradle attachment a large range of shafts that it is capable of lifting.
The arms are secured into place using two star knobs on the rear of the cradle attachment back plate. The star knobs are tightened to ensure that the arms can be held at the correct distance apart whilst moving a load.
