Groundbreaking Ceremony Held for Discovery Village At Sarasota Bay Senior-living Community in Bradenton, FL
Bonita Springs, FL (PRWEB) October 23, 2014 -- A ceremonial groundbreaking was held October 22 for Discovery Village At Sarasota Bay senior-living community and wellness center in Bradenton, Florida, announced Thomas J. Harrison, CEO and co-founder of the community’s owner and operator, Discovery Senior Living. The community is located on an 11-acre parcel at 1414 69th Avenue West. This is the third Discovery Village in Florida developed by the Bonita Springs-based Discovery Senior Living.
Construction has begun, generating employment for approximately 100 workers to build the 130,000-square-foot residential building. The $30 million-plus community is expected to be complete by November 2015.
Discovery Village At Sarasota Bay will have a Grande Clubhouse building that comprises a three-story wing of 30 apartment homes for supervised independent living; three-story wing of 66 apartment homes for assisted living; and a one-story wing of 30 suites for memory care. Accommodations include grande suites, and one-bedroom and two-bedroom senior-living apartment homes.
The community will offer personalized, all-inclusive care plans and resort-style amenities in a stimulating environment where residents will have their needs taken care of around the clock.
