Session on October 23 will profile success of SpartanNash’s load-to-card coupon program

Inmar today announced that John Ross, Chief Marketing Officer, Inmar and President, Inmar Analytics and Linh Peters, Vice President of Marketing at SpartanNash, will present “Taking Loyalty to the Next Level Through Digital Engagement,” at 8:00 a.m. on October 23 at the 2014 Shopper Marketing Conference and Expo in Minneapolis, MN.

Part of the “Seeing the Big Picture” track, this session will examine how Inmar and grocery retailer and distributor SpartanNash collaborated to create a positive online experience for SpartanNash’s shoppers through their yes Rewards load-to-card (L2C) coupon program. Since its launch in October 2013, this e-wallet initiative has already seen more than two million digital offers clipped, with redemption rates for paperless coupons offered through the program averaging close to 15 percent.

SpartanNash, which operates 166 supermarkets in nine states, introduced its yes Rewards loyalty program in 2010. The program offers consumers access to in-store promotions, savings clubs, pharmacy benefits and fuel offers. In October 2013, the Michigan-based company took its loyalty efforts to the next level by teaming with Inmar to launch a L2C coupon program that is regularly providing registered program members with 200 online offers every month.
