Journeys International (Journeys) has installed SugarCRM to represent the interests of their customers. As a full-service tour operator, Journeys needed a CRM system that could scale without losing the personal touch of their customized travel arrangements. The Journeys team quickly realized that their business didn’t fit the mold for traditional CRMs, since they don’t have the standard types of contacts, cases, or accounts. An initial attempt at deploying CRM failed until they were introduced to TAI through Sugar’s partner network. A full business analysis of Journeys led to TAI building a unique CRM system from scratch – an “XRM” system. “Journeys International was the first customer of mine who didn’t use a single core CRM module,” said TAI consultant Lan Luo. “A true XRM case.”
