Experience A Very Different Halloween at Shropshire's Premier Zoo
Telford (PRWEB UK) 17 October 2014 -- This year, Halloween at Shropshire's premier zoo is taking on a very different look and feel. For the first time in their history, Hoo Farm staff will be taking people on a guided tour through the woodland that encompasses nearly 8 acres of the award winning attraction.
At the established farm park, visitors can be on the lookout for creepy goings on, however the main aim is to educate customers on where many of our fears and legends come from. Edward Dorrell, Owner and Partner of the Attraction said, "You can go anywhere and be scared during Halloween, however we wanted to offer a different experience. Why are Werewolves and Vampires so entrenched in folklore? Why are we scared of Bats, Spiders and Snakes? We wanted to answer those questions whilst providing an entertaining evening for all involved."
Not just that, visitors will be encouraged to keep their eyes open for local wildlife, including badgers, foxes, owls and polecat whilst also listening to the park's very own Red Deer stag roaring through the night.
From 10am to 5pm, Hoo Farm is a children's paradise with activities such as Pumpkin Carving, Sheep Racing and Meet the Owls taking place alongside the 150 species of animals ranging from Llamas to Lemurs and Servals to Sheep, there is something for everyone.
Tours will run from 5pm - 7pm and take place in small groups of only 10 people. Advanced booking is essential. Please visit the Hoo Farm website for more information.
