SPT and True Selected as Panelists for Fairfax County Small Business Commission Marketing Event
Fairfax, Virginia (PRWEB) October 15, 2014 -- Kris Brinker and Simon Turner, Partners of SPT and TRUE were hand-picked by the Fairfax County Small Business Commission to share their marketing expertise with the attendees of the Marketing Panel Discussions during the 2014 Fairfax County Vendor Forum.
The daylong activities began with remarks and a welcome by Cathy Muse, Director Department of Purchasing and Supply Management; Sharon Bulova, Chairman, Board of Supervisors; Tracey Jeter, Director, Virginia Department of Small Business and Supplier Diversity and Pat Herrity, Springfield District Supervisor.
“Fairfax County is known for its business-friendly climate. Time Magazine has described us as the epicenter of the Washington region’s job boom and one of the great economic success stories of our time. Small businesses are the growth engine of our economy, and the Fairfax County Vendor Forum helps provide small businesses with valuable networking opportunities and helpful tools to start up and thrive,” said Sharon Bulova.
Brinker and Turner are recognized business growth experts lending their talent as board members of the Central Fairfax Chamber of Commerce (CFCC), assisting the chamber and its members with business, marketing and website strategy, branding, and graphic design. “As business owners themselves they are passionate about helping other businesses succeed,” said Doug Church, chairman of the CFCC. “Kris and Simon are absolutely great at what they do. Their knowledge of marketing and skills in creative design are the best I have ever seen."
"This year’s vendor forum was a huge success with hundreds of business professionals attending the talks and the reverse vendor fair," said Brinker. “We were able to answer questions about website design and development, search engine optimization (SEO), social media, traditional print design, direct mail, content development and other hot topics business owners need to understand about marketing.”
“The forum was a fantastic experience to share our professional marketing expertise with a group of highly engaged, small business professionals, we look forward to next year’s forum,” said Turner.
