(PRWEB) October 17, 2014 -- Homes with Hope will be hosting its 7th Annual “Stand Up for Homes with Hope” on Saturday, November 8, 2014. This year’s show, entitled “Wait, wait...it's Paula Poundstone", will star the improvisational and thought-provoking comedic artist, Paula Poundstone. The event will be held at the Westport Country Playhouse, 25 Powers Court, Westport, CT. Ticket prices range from $75 - $200 and all proceeds benefit Homes with Hope. Paula Poundstone will be performing her legendary spontaneous stand-up comedy which she often likens to a cocktail party, as she says no two shows are the same. Poundstone is well known for her weekly appearance on Wait, Wait…Don’t Tell Me, now the most popular show on NPR, having reached #1 status in 2014. Paula quickly goes on record about how much she loves being part of the show saying: “I am a proud member of the endorphin production industry". Paula is recognized as one of Comedy Central's 100 greatest stand-ups of all time. She won an American Comedy Award for Best Female Stand-up Comic, and in 2010 she was one of a select group voted into the Comedy Hall of Fame.
