Dr. Ellis’s Fellow, Dr. Lee, Presented with the 2014 Claus D. Walter Award
Toronto, ON (PRWEB) October 16, 2014 -- Dr. David A. F. Ellis is a professor at the Department of Otolaryngology at the University of Toronto in the division of Head and Neck. Along with his private practice, he also lectures on facial plastic surgery at The University Health Network at The Toronto General Hospital. Dr. Ellis limits his practice to facial plastic surgery. Dr. Tee Sin Lee came to the University of Toronto from Singapore to participate in the fellowship program joint with The American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and The University of Toronto.
Dr. Lee got his medical degree at the National University of Singapore, and completed his board certification through the Singapore National Otorhinolaryngology Training Program. Upon the completion of his residency, Dr. Lee was given the honor of a Health Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) award, allowing him to complete a one year clinical fellowship covering reconstructive and facial plastic surgery, under Dr. David Ellis at the University of Toronto.

Dr. Lee's goal is to build up a new division within Changi General Hospital, focusing on reconstruction, cosmetic services, and trauma, giving patients the best results possible. He credits Dr. Ellis for giving him the guidance and experience needed to make this new division within the hospital a reality in the near future.
