Chris’ expertise in quality assurance allows us to provide additional value to both our homeowners and investors, and further improves Dividend Solar’s best-in-class quality approach.
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) October 16, 2014
Dividend Solar announced today the addition of Christopher Doyle as Chief Marketing Officer to lead the Company’s Marketing and Installation Partner Program.
Mr. Doyle formerly served as Program Director at the Institute for Building Technology and Safety (IBTS), where he built the largest residential solar PV quality assurance program in the country. While at IBTS, he also launched the Solar Access to Public Capital (SAPC) Installer Best Practices initiative through the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) and the Department of Energy. Combining relationships with leaders across the solar industry and a track record as the pre-eminent quality assurance advocate in solar, Mr. Doyle will accelerate Dividend Solar’s expansion with quality-driven installation partners.
“We are thrilled to welcome Chris to the Dividend Solar team,” says Dividend Solar CEO, Steve Michella. “Chris’ expertise in quality assurance allows us to provide additional value to both our homeowners and investors, and further improves Dividend Solar’s best-in-class quality approach.”
A 13-year veteran in the construction, mortgage and solar industries, Mr. Doyle joins Dividend Solar as the Company continues its nationwide expansion. Offering Solar-Ownership-as-a-Service, Dividend Solar partners with leading solar installers to offer convenient, low-cost loan financing to homeowners looking for a better way to go solar. The Company’s $0-down loan product offers homeowners the benefits of the third-party-ownership model – system production guarantees, hassle-free maintenance, and real-time monitoring – as well as the financial upside from ownership.
“As quality-focused installers are looking for better financing options, Dividend Solar offers a partnership-driven solution that empowers installers to grow their business,” says Doyle. “I am proud to join the Dividend Solar team that is at the cutting edge of solar finance, offering products that shift the economics of solar back to the homeowner.”
The arrival of Mr. Doyle is the latest addition to Dividend Solar’s growing team of seasoned solar industry professionals. The combination of Doyle, Andrew Truitt – Dividend Solar’s Director of PV Operations and a member of NABCEP’s Board of Directors – and the Company’s partnership with leading third-party O&M provider Next Phase Solar enables Dividend Solar to ensure the installation of the highest-quality PV systems. With its unparalleled focus on quality, Dividend Solar can provide traditional infrastructure investors with greater comfort to participate in the distributed solar asset class.
In conjunction with his appointment, Mr. Doyle is implementing a new program with Dividend Solar that will facilitate NABCEP Company Accreditation for Dividend Solar installation partners. The NABCEP Accreditation distinguishes quality installers as firms that are committed to high-quality installation standards, safe work practices and exceptional customer satisfaction.
“Through this new program, Dividend Solar will offer quality assurance training, discounted education programs and a robust toolkit of business resources to its channel partners,” adds Michella.
Since its launch earlier this year, Dividend Solar has built a large and growing network of leading solar installation partners across the U.S. Providing the flexibility of a non-bank lender combined with a comprehensive, full-service loan offering, Dividend Solar supports its installation partners throughout the sales process via its fully online EmpowerPortal, and accelerates the adoption of solar through its streamlined application process.
“There has never been a better time to go solar,” says Eric White, the Company’s President. “And now, with Dividend Solar, there has never been a better way.”
