Like all moms, I can never seem to find enough time in the day, so I understand the importance of making some me-time and the creative thinking needed to accomplish that.
New York, NY (PRWEB) October 16, 2014
Meetings, playdates, housework and homework, today’s moms tackle and accomplish it all, but what’s missing? “Me-Time.” According to the Moms and “Me-Time” Survey conducted by BlogHer in partnership with fruitwater® – a great-tasting, naturally fruit flavored, zero calorie sparkling water beverage – 96 percent of moms want more time for themselves. Lucky for them, fruitwater launched its #stealamoment campaign with brand spokesperson and partner, Christina Applegate, to encourage fans to do just that.
The survey asked moms what they do with their stolen moments, what they would and would not give up to steal a moment and the lengths they would go to find time for themselves (hint: 50 percent use the bathroom as their haven!).
“Like all moms, I can never seem to find enough time in the day, so I understand the importance of making some me-time and the creative thinking needed to accomplish that,” said Christina.
Elisa Camahort Page, co-founder and COO of BlogHer, wasn’t surprised to see that 99 percent of moms feel time for themselves is important to their well-being. “These days, moms are taking on more and more. The moms in the BlogHer community are bloggers, CEOs of their own companies, CBOs (chief buying officers) of their homes, leaders in their communities; the list could go on and on. That’s probably why 50 percent said they would give up their TV time for an extra hour for themselves, but only 19 percent would give up their device.”
