SpendSmart Networks, Inc. Each licensee in SpendSmart’s network covers a different geographic market within the U.S., Mexico and Canada.
Through the first nine calendar months of 2014, the Company has increased the number of licensees in its licensee network from 75 to 153 as of September 30, 2014.
This network of certified digital marketing specialists, or “Certified Masterminds,” are primarily responsible for driving SpendSmart’s revenue and consumer relationships for merchants via loyalty programs, mobile marketing, mobile commerce and financial tools, such as prepaid card and reward systems. Each new licensee pays an initial fee to SpendSmart, then undergoes rigorous mobile and loyalty marketing training, preparing them to serve as the Company’s primary sales and support contact to merchants across the United States.
