APSP Announces Seminar on Valuation & Purchase Strategies of Pool & Hot Tub Businesses
Alexandria, VA (PRWEB) October 15, 2014 -- The Association of Pool & Spa Professionals (APSP) announces a seminar, “Valuation & Purchase Strategies of Pool & Hot Tub Businesses,” designed specifically for its WAVE Young Professionals Network at the Int’l Pool | Spa | Patio Expo in Orlando, Florida.
The event, sponsored by PoolCorp, with support from Evosus, Zodiac and Jandy, will be held November 6, 3:30-5 pm in Room N320A at the Orange County Convention Center. Registration is now open.
“If someone is considering purchasing a pool or hot tub business they won’t want to miss this APSP presentation,” said Rod Sterling, co-founder and president of The Sterling Advisory Group, LLC, a consulting practice primarily engaged as a business intermediary. “I will discuss common pitfalls and positive ways to navigate family dynamics during this sensitive purchasing time,” he added.
At the conclusion of the interactive presentation, participants will be able to answer the top 3 questions for a successful purchase: 1.) is the pool and hot tub industry worth investing in? 2.) What key person should absolutely be involved from the very start of the purchasing decision? And 3.) Why bother with an independent business valuation? Questions and answers will follow.
“APSP is committed to attracting and supporting the next generation of the pool and hot tub industry,” said President and CEO Rich Gottwald. “This WAVE seminar and the various APSP networking receptions offered around the country throughout the year, create opportunities for young professionals to advance their career and grow their business.”
