Shady Grove Fertility Announces Inaugural Egg Freezing Conference in Washington, DC
Rockville, Maryland (PRWEB) October 16, 2014 -- At Shady Grove Fertility, advancements in technology and lab techniques have made egg freezing a reliable option for women who wish to extend their fertility potential. Shady Grove Fertility was one of the first centers to adopt the newest vitrification technology in 2009, and since that time, over 200 babies have been born from frozen eggs. As public awareness has grown, patients seeking egg freezing have doubled year over year, leading Shady Grove Fertility to conduct monthly educational seminars in Maryland and Washington, DC. Recognizing a growing need for a more significant event, Shady Grove Fertility will be hosting its inaugural Egg Freezing Conference in Washington, DC.
The 2014 Shady Grove Fertility Egg Freezing Conference, the first of its kind in the Washington, DC area, will be held on November 8, 2014 from 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at District Architecture Center. This educational event is for women in their late 20s to late 30s who are interested in extending their fertility potential or who have frozen in the past. This conference will be free for all guests, but interested parties must register for the event. The program will be primarily comprised of speaker sessions, a physician panel, and testimonials from women who have previously frozen their eggs. Additionally, guests will have the opportunity to gather with fellow attendees and meet one-on-one with physicians during the conference networking breakfast and intermission.
“We are committed to making egg freezing education accessible to all women. By discussing the science of preservation, the returning patient success rates, and the available financial options, conference attendees will have enough insight to make an informed decision,” said Joseph Doyle, M.D. of Shady Grove Fertility.
