X-Rite announces that INX International has joined the PantoneLIVE Accredited Partner Program.

X-Rite Incorporated, a global leader in color science and technology, today announced that INX International, the third largest producer of inks in North America, has joined the PantoneLIVE Accredited Partner Program. INX International is enhancing and further automating its ink formulation process and on-site customer services to incorporate access to PantoneLIVE, an ecosystem that makes it easy for brand owners, ink suppliers and converters to define, develop and share precise spectral definitions for brand color palettes based on specific substrates, print processes, inks and application methods. INX International is one of a select group of ink manufacturers that has been accredited under this elite program.

In addition, INX International has implemented InkFormulation Online, a web client solution for ink manufacturers and suppliers that allows customers to access a centralized, easily updated InkFormulation database. Rounding out the INX International ink formulation update are X-Rite eXact next-generation handheld spectrophotometers and NetProfiler color management software to ensure certified instrument performance and inter-instrument agreement across the color network.

“We are very excited to have INX International as a PantoneLIVE Accredited Partner,” said Aleks Zlatic, Vice-President of Sales of X-Rite. “They are a valuable addition to the PantoneLIVE ecosystem and will broaden the range of information and services about INX International inks for printers and packaging converters, ensuring that the inks they are using meet brand owner standards regardless of the substrate or printing technology used.”

Michael Brice, Vice President of Offset Operations and Business Development for INX International, explained that the company will be using eXact spectrophotometers and NetProfiler software in its manufacturing operations as well as its on-site ink formulation managed services operations for larger printing and converting operations.

“Becoming a PantoneLIVE Accredited Partner makes a great deal of sense for us and for our customers,” Brice said. “The advantage of this robust tool set is the ability to speed up the process by which we can match colors, including options for a variety of substrates and printing processes. These tools will be used both for ink formulation and for quality control once the ink has been mixed."
