Florida Tech Company's Legal Discoveries
(PRWEB) November 04, 2014 -- On Monday, 8th December 2014, the Business Litigation CLE Committee of the Palm Beach County Bar Association is running a seminar on "How to Ethically Perform e-Discovery", from 11.30 am - 1.00 pm. The event will be introduced and lead by top Florida Bar Board Certified Business Litigation attorney, David Steinfeld; recognized by Florida Trend Magazine as a member of the Florida Legal Elite.
The changing rules and types of evidence in all legal systems are becoming more high-tech than ever before. E-Discovery is the process of identifying, seeking, locating and securing electronic data for use in criminal and civil proceedings. The effective use of e-Discovery can lead to more efficient and reliable legal cases with more predictable results.
During the one hour seminar held at Palm Beach County Bar Association, 1507 Belvedere Road, West Palm Beach, 33406, following introductions and lunch, David Steinfeld will explore e-Discovery terms and terminology, data preservation obligations, and review some salient sanctions in case law. Attendees can register via this application form. The fee for the event is $25 for PBCBA member attorneys/paralegals and $65 for non-PBCBA member attorneys/paralegals if registered by 1st December, with an additional $15 fee after that date.
