Bean Box Launches Nationally to Bring Coffee from Seattle’s Finest Artisan Coffee Roasters to Members’ Doorsteps

Each month, Bean Box hand picks four roasts in 1.7 ounce sample sizes from premium, independent roasters in Seattle such as Kuma, Herkimer and Lighthouse, and ships them to members within twenty-four hours of roasting. Bean Box prides itself on the freshness of the coffee delivered in its monthly coffee boxes. Coffee loses its favor, becomes bitter, and starts to get oily if the coffee beans are more than ten days old. Most coffee beans sold in grocery stores and brewed in large coffee chains are often 3 or more weeks old. Bean Box’s proximity to dozens of premium roasters in Seattle allows them to ship beans to its coffee-loving members directly, within one day of roasting.
