Gopal and Manju Chopra announced that Larry Sosnow, experienced healthcare entrepreneur, was appointed to the Board of pingmd in September 2014 and serves as its Vice Chairman.
Mr. Sosnow’s career has focused on the founding and development of disruptive health care service companies. In 2000, Mr. Sosnow founded the home care company Seniorbridge, enabled by an innovative care-manager model, which was acquired by Humana in 2012, now operating under the "Humana at Home" banner.
Mr. Sosnow was also one of the co-founders of Athenahealth, Inc. in 1997, and as Vice Chairman, helped guide the company’s focus toward medical practice management. In 1976, Mr. Sosnow founded and was CEO of Patient Care, Inc., a regional provider of acute home health services that was acquired in 1994 by Chemed, Inc.
