Jules Pieri, CEO of The Grommet Honored by Goldman Sachs for Entrepreneurship
Somerville, MA (PRWEB) October 16, 2014 -- Today, Goldman Sachs is recognizing [The Grommet CEO Jules Pieri as one of the 100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs of 2014 at its Builders + Innovators Summit in Santa Barbara, Calif.
Goldman Sachs selected Ms. Pieri for this recognition among a number of other entrepreneurs from multiple industries to be honored at the two-day event. Ms. Pieri has been The Grommet CEO since she and Co-Founder Joanne Domeniconi founded the company in 2008. Ms. Pieri has previously worked as an industrial designer for technology companies, as a senior executive for large consumer products companies, and as VP and president at two prior startups. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan and graduated from Harvard Business School, where she is currently an Entrepreneur in Residence. Jules Pieri was also named one of Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Entrepreneurs in 2013 and a New England finalist for 2014 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year. In June 2014, she was invited to launch Grommet Wholesale at the first-ever White House Maker Faire.
