Hartford Business Journal Presents ‘Business Gives Back’
Hartford, Conn. (PRWEB) October 16, 2014 -- Connect and learn the many ways that businesses of all sizes can become more involved in their communities, as the Hartford Business Journal presents its inaugural Business Gives Back Forum on Thursday, Oct. 23. The Forum will take place from 7:30-11:45 a.m. at the Town and County Club, located at 22 Woodland Street in Hartford. The morning session will help for-profit attendees explore the concepts of corporate citizenship and social responsibility.
“We are thrilled to welcome the Greater Hartford Region to the Hartford Business Journal’s newest forum for professional networking and learning,” said Joe Zwiebel, founding publisher of the Hartford Business Journal. “We believe this event will provide everyone with an opportunity to engage with some of Connecticut’s best and brightest businesses.”
The Forum will feature an Opening Session on Social Responsibility. A panel of local companies who are known for giving back will share their best practices to begin, build and sustain their company's give back programs.
Attendees will also be given the opportunity to attend two sessions of their choice among the following:
• Five ways to engage employees.
• Giving your resources.
• How to tell the story-marketing and communication strategy.
• What are the legal and tax implications?
