Bellevue, WA (PRWEB) October 18, 2014
Brady’s Bunch Lacrosse teammates Mitch Flippo and Kyle Martinez held a fundraiser at Flywheel in Bellevue on September 28, 2014 to help raise money for childhood Leukemia in young Brady’s name, as well as assist with Brady’s own medical expenses.
Brady Wein has already beaten the odds, at 3 months old he was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer known as Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML). He is a catalyst for a consortium of lacrosse teams called Brady’s Bunch.
Brady’s Bunch is made up of boy’s lacrosse teams from 22 states and 2 countries playing for the cause. Their message is simple: lacrosse is just a game; it’s life that’s hard. Their motto: B Strong and Believe.
Fifteen year old Brady’s’ Bunch player Mitch Flippo put it into words, “Playing for Brady is more than just lacrosse, it playing for something bigger than all of us.” Kyle added,” Brady impacts our lives on and off the field; live each day to the fullest and play every shift like it’s your last.”
Mitch and Kyle have raised $10,000 to date.
