The Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute (ASMI) once again invites photographers from Alaska and beyond to enter your photographs in our Alaska Fishing Families Photo Contest. The Fan Favorite Grand Prize winner, which will be decided by ASMI’s Facebook fans, will win two round-trip tickets on Alaska Airlines.
In addition to the Facebook Fan Favorite, ASMI will select the appropriate category for each photo and award 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes in each of the following categories:
•Best Action Photo
•Best Boat Photo
•Best Family or Kid Photo
•Best Fish Photo
•Best Humor Photo
•Best Scenic Photo
•Best Throwback Photo
The 1st place prize winner in each category will receive an Apple iPad, the 2nd place prize winner in each category will receive an ASMI dry bag duffle, and the 3rd prize winner in each category will receive an Alaska Seafood sweatshirt.
ASMI relies on photos submitted during the photo contest to share a glimpse of the uniqueness of Alaska’s fisheries with the world. From fishing in the Aleutian Island to the aurora borealis rippling over our fishing grounds, these images all help tell the story of Alaska Seafood.
