SureStep, LLC, has officially kicked-off the 2014 SureStep Halloween Photo Contest. The photo contest is open to all legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are the parents or guardians of a child who is currently using a SureStep product. Entries will be accepted until 11:59 p.m. EDT on Saturday, November 1.

Photo submissions must feature the entrant’s child wearing a Halloween costume along with an item from SureStep’s current product line, including: SureStep SMOs, BigShots, AFOs, DeRotation Straps, HEKO or TLSO. Along with the photo, submissions must include the child’s name, date of birth, and the parent or guardian’s name, address and phone number. A brief paragraph detailing how the child has benefited from the SureStep product should be sent in with the submission.

“We can’t wait to see pictures of adorable little goblins and ghouls who are benefiting from a SureStep orthotic device,” said Suzi Klimek, Executive Director of Marketing. “At SureStep, we are dedicated to creating pediatric orthotic products that truly make a difference in the lives of children and we’re overjoyed to give back to our community with this contest!”

Contest submissions in their entirety, including a JPEG or TIF high-rest photo of at least 300 dpi, as well as contact information and a brief note, must be submitted electronically via email to info(at)SureStep(dot)net. No more than one entry per child will be accepted, and photos posted directly to the SureStep Facebook page will not be eligible to win.

SureStep will share all photo submissions on the SureStep Facebook page in the “2014 Halloween Photo Contest” album and winners will be chosen based on the number of “likes” on each photo. “Likes” generated through shared posts will not count toward the final tally; all likes must be accrued on the original photo.

A first place winner, announced on November 3, will be awarded a pair of Beats Studio by Dre Headphones, valued at $299.95. Second place will win a Beats Pill Wireless Speaker and third place will receive Urbeats Earphones. The next 20 runners-up will be awarded a participation prize of a $25 Amazon gift card.

About SureStep:
SureStep, LLC, based in South Bend, Indiana, designs, produces and distributes a number of orthotic devices, particularly for children with low muscle tone. Frustrated by the functional limitations created by traditional rigid bracing made of hard plastics, in 2000, founder Bernie Veldman, CO, created a lighter and more flexible device that would allow and even encourage normal development of a child’s gait without decreasing function. The result was the creation of a revolutionary dynamic stabilizing system named SureStep. SureStep is the most effective means of providing stability to children who pronate when standing and walking. This patented, dynamic system allows children to gain stability, while still allowing natural movement and function. SureStep creates and distributes additional products addressing a wide range of pediatric orthotic issues for children of all ages. To learn more about SureStep, please visit
