Last evening, the Wharton Small Business Development Center, the Entrepreneurs’ Forum of Greater Philadelphia (EFGP), and the Philadelphia Business Journal announced the winners of the 2014 Philadelphia 100—the top privately-held companies, within the 10-county Philadelphia region, with the highest percentage revenue growth over the past three consecutive years. Winning CEOs, their spouses, and colleagues were recognized at the Gala Awards Ceremony at the Annenberg Center in Philadelphia, PA.

The Philadelphia 100 is all about celebrating entrepreneurship, and the CEOs who have built and grown these companies,” stated Therese Flaherty, Director of the Wharton Small Business Development Center, and co-sponsor of The Philadelphia 100. Flaherty added, “Philadelphia 100 winners continue to be a source of innovation and inspiration for entrepreneurs around this region.”
Among those new to the list was Jacobson Strategic Communications. "We are very proud of this honor. Winning the Philadelphia 100 recognizes our team’s extraordinary accomplishments over the past three years," stated Susan Jacobson, President. Seven of the top 100 companies were inducted into the Philadelphia 100 Hall of Fame, marking their fifth appearance on the list. Five new inductees include: Coldlight Solutions, Fun and Function LLC, Harbor Partners, Optimal Strategix Group, Inc. and Therapy Source, Inc.
In addition to the top 100, two special awards were presented at last night’s ceremony. The Philadelphia 100 Founders' Distinguished Achievement Award was presented to Todd Bavol, CEO, Integrity Staffing Solutions, of Wilmington, DE. This company achieved the highest three-year sales growth— $109 million—and created 195 full time jobs between 2011 and 2013. The 2014 Pennsylvania Governor’s Cup Award was awarded to Brad Gruno, President and Founder, Brad’s Raw Chips, LLC, of Pipersville, PA. This Bucks County-based company created 60 full-time jobs and achieved sales of $11.5 million in 2013. Their growth, between 2011 and 2013, was a whopping 411%.
