We are excited to be sponsoring the speed networking event in Seattle... These semiannual meetings are a great place to network with other industry professionals and get quality face to face time.”
Orlando, Florida (PRWEB) October 17, 2014
Following a successful event at the spring C.A.R.E. Conference, Resort Travel & Xchange (RTX), a leader in the timeshare and vacation ownership exchange industry, will once again sponsor a speed networking event at the 59th semiannual conference, to be held October 18-21, 2014 in Seattle, WA at the Renaissance Seattle Hotel.
During the spring C.A.R.E. conference in Destin, FL, RTX sponsored the interactive Speed Networking event, which enabled attendees to get to meet each other and explain what products and services they offer on a one to one basis. The nearly 100 participants had two minutes per meeting and benefitted from new introductions to prospective clients and business partners, which included representatives of resorts, travel companies, exchange companies, developers, travel agencies and resort service providers.
Based on participant feedback, the speed networking event was one of the highlights at the spring conference and because of the success RTX had hosting the event, they decided to host the event again for the fall conference.
“We are excited to be sponsoring the speed networking event in Seattle,” says Corina Violette, Director of Resort Partnerships for RTX. “These semiannual meetings are a great place to network with other industry professionals and get quality face to face time.”
C.A.R.E. is a trade association established in 1985. C.A.R.E. provides a networking platform that offers the tools for individual business enhancement while requiring its member companies to adhere to its code of standards and ethics. C.A.R.E. member companies currently offer 2,500 vacation properties and service approximately one million vacation owners and members. C.A.R.E. is an international organization, with members throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, Europe and Australia.
“Networking is certainly an important aspect of timeshare conferences, especially when you consider the value of new partnerships and affiliations,” says RTX’s Violette. “As a rapidly growing exchange company, we know firsthand the value of being able to explain how your company’s unique position in the industry can benefit other organizations. Give me two minutes and I’ll make you a believer,” she states.
“We’re proud to be able to facilitate another event that not only is extremely beneficial to attendees, but also is quite enjoyable in the process,” Violette continues. “We’re looking forward to the fall conference and can’t wait to host another successful event.”
Now with over 80,000 members, RTX offers a risk free exchange program that allows members to confirm a suitable exchange before giving up access to their own allocated accommodation, in addition to a variety of other travel services, benefits and discounts.
