Supporting the Rising Stars Tennis program for minority and low income kids is important to us at Ultimate Beauty because it creates opportunity for advancement to these kids and families.

Ultimate Beauty based in DeForest, Wisconsin, is proud to announce its sponsorship and coordination of the Rising Stars Tennis Program for youth in the Madison, Wis., area. The program will begin November 1, 2014, at the John Powless Tennis Center in Madison.

The Rising Stars Tennis Program is for minority and/or low-income youth between the ages of 8 and 17 years old. The program provides tennis lessons to children and teens who typically do not have access to tennis lessons or facilities with the objective of building skilled and competitive high school tennis players.

The entry fee for participants is $30, and scholarships are available for pre-high school age students who qualify for the public school subsidized lunch program. The weekly sessions are 75 minutes long on Saturday afternoons and will feature drills and skill-building games. The players will be divided into three separate courts by their age and/or skill level.

The Rising Stars Tennis program is sponsored by the Greater Madison Tennis Association and is funded in part through a grant from the Wisconsin Tennis Association and Ultimate Beauty. Ultimate Beauty president Richard Muma serves as Coordinator for the program, and he stated that he looks forward to the opportunity for Ultimate Beauty to give back to the community, especially minority and low income kids and families.

When asked to comment on his involvement, Muma said,

"Supporting the Rising Stars Tennis program for minority and low income kids is important to us at Ultimate Beauty because it creates opportunity for advancement to these kids and families." The program will also encourage children and teens to play and participate in local tournaments and in their middle school and high school tennis programs.

Muma also commented on the local response to this new opportunity.

"The community has been very appreciative of the program and the fact that it is very affordable," he said. Muma also emphasized the added advantages for students, such as an after school program that will allow children the chance to receive a tennis scholarship.
