Montreal, Qubec (PRWEB) October 20, 2014 -- Sagemcom, the global leader in FoIP solutions, announced today that its XMediusFAX® connector 4.1 for Sharp OSA®-enabled MFPs has been validated by Sharp Electronics Corporation. As a result XMediusFAX® On-Premise and Cloud are now validated for use with supported Sharp OSA®-enabled Multi-Function Peripherals (MFPs).
Currently available for the North American market, the XMediusFAX® connector for Sharp OSA®-enabled MFPs permits compatible Sharp MFPs to send faxes by using XMediusFAX® On-Premise or XMediusFAX® Cloud solutions. The seamless integration allows users to benefit from fax server features such as: editing faxes, managing multiple fax recipients, creating fax cover sheets and accessing personal phone books. In addition, Sharp users can customize the display on their MFP to either a full or a simplified interface when composing a fax. These and other features make XMediusFAX® a valuable add-on for Sharp OSA®-compatible MFPs.
“Sagemcom is pleased to announce a connector validation from an industry-leading technology supplier like Sharp,” said Jean Champagne, General Manager of Sagemcom Canada. "Now, Sharp customers are virtually guaranteed a dependable and efficient fax process directly from their Sharp MFPs”.

We are very pleased to work with a company like Sagemcom who are the pioneers in the FoIP field”.
The XMediusFAX® connector for Sharp OSA®-enabled MFPs allows users to improve the efficiency of their document transmissions, while extending the faxing capabilities on the same device used for printing, scanning and copying.
Sagemcom’s XMediusFAX® solutions, when implemented with Sharp MFPs, facilitate fax delivery directly from the console of the MFP to authenticated recipient inboxes allowing organizations to be regulatory compliant by securely sending sensitive information.
