Claude demonstrates the lick in three parts as follows; part one; slide into the 11th fret of the 2nd string with 3rd finger and then the 9th fret of the first string with first finger to the 11th fret with 3rd finger and do a bend and release back to the 9th fret, followed by a hammer-on and pull-off to and from the 11th and 9th frets and ending on the 11th fret of the 2nd string with 3rd finger. Part two; 9th fret of the 2nd string with first finger and a hammer-on to the 11th fret with 3rd finger to the 9th fret of the first string with first finger. Third part; 9th fret of the first string to the 9th fret of the 2nd string with first finger and a hammer-on to the 11th fret and then repeat and end on the 12th fret and bend up one half step and end on the 9th fret of the first string with first finger. The Pentatonic Scale is a musical scale with five notes per octave. They can be found all over the world and are the main scale used in the Blues genre.
