Shipshewana Lights Up for the Holidays with the Annual Light Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony
Shipshewana, Indiana (PRWEB) October 19, 2014 -- Crowds line the parade route in anticipation of breath-taking spectacles of glittering light, music, treats and fun. This year the event takes place on November 8th and as soon as the sun goes down (around 6pm) the procession begins with horses, wagons, and floats of all sizes. The evening concludes with the lighting of the giant Christmas Tree outside the Blue Gate Restaurant and Riegsecker's Furniture store. The lights, the caroling and all the enjoyment of the holidays has become an annual family gathering place.
