Darcio Lira Martial Arts to Host Autism Awareness Event
Livermore, CA (PRWEB) October 22, 2014 -- Darcio Lira Martial Arts has announced an upcoming autism awareness event, Tap Out Autism. The event will be part of the new facility’s grand opening, and the day will include a celebration of martial arts with proceeds benefiting Autism Speaks.
Tap Out Autism will feature some of today’s world leaders in martial arts, including UFC’s Michael McDonald and former UFC fighter Carlos Rocha. Admission is free, and guests will be able to visit with these world-renowned fighters. Tom Callos and Brannon Beliso will also be guests at the event.
The event is being coordinated by Don Franks, CEO of applied behavior analysis agency Ed Support Services. Tap Out Autism will take place on November 8, 2014, from 10am to 5pm at 1601 Railroad Avenue in Livermore, California. The event is free, but donations are encouraged to benefit Autism Speaks.
