Conversion lenses are simple to use and are great options for photographers who can't afford very expensive single lenses.

Kauser International, leading provider of affordable camera and photography accessories and equipment, today announces the availability of Kelda Conversion lenses as an affordable alternative to expensive equipment for advanced photography.

Conversion lenses increase the functionality of cameras by adding to the focal length range of the lens. Different types of conversion lenses add telephoto and wide angle options to existing digital cameras. As opposed to standalone lenses, conversion lenses simply screw onto the existing camera lens.

Telephoto conversion lenses increase magnification and allow the photographer to zoom in close on subjects. Wide angle conversion lenses enable cameras to zoom out to a much wider angle.

With conversion lenses, access to more advanced photography techniques is not restricted. Typically, standalone specialty lenses that focus on these areas must be purchased. Standalone lenses can be very expensive, and so can be limited to photographers with more disposable income.

The relatively low cost of conversion lenses makes them a great alternative to standalone lenses. Schools can more affordably furnish their photography classes, and students and photographers with a limited budget can still take the photos they wish to capture. The Kelda line of conversion lenses ranges in price from £28.15 to £31.50.

“We are very excited to be offering these conversion lenses,” said Blake Bennett, Product Manager at Kauser International. “Conversion lenses are simple to use and are great options for photographers who can’t afford very expensive single lenses. With the conversion lenses, you just attach them and your camera can take all these shots that weren’t possible before.”

The lens is manufactured by KAILI Optronics, a boutique Chinese manufacturer specializing in DSLR photo optics. Kauser International is the exclusive distributor of KELDA lenses in the UK.
