Girls Inc. Honors Mara Brock Akil, Nancy Dubuc, Eva Longoria, and Sheri Salata at Annual Los Angeles Luncheon
NEW YORK, NY (PRWEB) October 22, 2014 -- On Wednesday, November 19, the annual Girls Inc. Los Angeles Luncheon will salute four outstanding honorees who uniquely inspire girls to set goals and achieve their full potential.

Held at The Beverly Hilton, the event is chaired by The Honorable Nicole Avant, Former U.S. Ambassador to The Bahamas; Giselle Fernández, Journalist, Entrepreneur and Latina Activist; Cheryl Saban, Ph.D., Founder, Cheryl Saban Self Worth Foundation for Women & Girls; and Jennifer Salke, President, Entertainment, NBCUniversal. It is hosted by Shaun Robinson, Author, "Exactly As I Am," Co-host, Access Hollywood, and Producer.

Each honoree is paired with a Girls Inc. National Scholar who will speak about overcoming challenges and share how the honoree’s incredible achievements and drive inspires them. The event raises funds to support Girls Inc. in expanding the reach of its educational programming across the United States and Canada.
