WASHINGTON, DC (PRWEB) October 21, 2014
This week, ACE continues its role as a champion for cardiovascular quality by exhibiting at the Scripps Clinic’s 25th Annual Cardiovascular Interventions Meeting at the Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines in La Jolla, CA, from October 21-24, 2014. Each year, the Cardiovascular Interventions meeting provides cardiologists, cardiac and vascular surgeons, and catheterization laboratory technicians with an overview of the latest advances in interventional cardiology.
“ACE is committed to staying on the leading edge of the rapidly evolving standards of care in cardiovascular medicine, and then bringing this expertise to catheterization laboratories across the country,” said Bonnie H. Weiner, M.D., MSCAI, and CMO for ACE. “Participating in this year’s Cardiovascular Interventions meeting is a great opportunity for ACE to meet and share ideas and best practices with leaders in the field of interventional cardiology.”
Following a full-day pre-conference seminar on Tuesday, October 21, the meeting will feature updates on the latest guidelines and clinical evidence in cardiac and peripheral vascular interventions. Session highlights that focus on quality and performance metrics in cardiovascular care include:
- Health Economics and Current Trends in Cardiology (October 21; 2:30-3:00 pm)
- Economics of Radial Angiography and Intervention (October 22; 11:00-11:30 am)
- Developing a Transradial Primary PCI Program (October 22; 12:00-12:30 pm)
- Creating a Cost Containment Program for Interventional Cardiologists (October 24; 4:00-6:00 pm)
