Just back from lecturing in Hong Kong, inflammatory disease and musculoskeletal medicine expert Dr. Emily Pineda of South Texas Arthritis Care Center is set to teach a two-day MSKUS course in Fort Worth Nov. 7-8.

As lead physician at South Texas Arthritis Care Center Dr. Pineda has gained a reputation for successfully helping Southern Texas patients with arthritis and other inflammatory diseases. Dr. Pineda said she is looking forward to sharing that expertise alongside other top physicians in her home state.

The two-day ultrasound cadaver course will offer plenty of hands-on opportunities for learning. Sessions include training in MSK techniques for various joints, tendon sheaths and nerve areas.

Possessing the new Registered in Musculoskeletal Sonography (RMSK) credential that raises the standard of musculoskeletal sonography and enhanced patient safety, Dr. Pineda has taught at several MSKUS workshops throughout the United States and overseas sharing her expertise in some of the industry’s cutting edge technologies. Most recently Dr. Pineda lectured and trained participants on musculoskeletal ultrasound technologies at the Diagnostics Musculoskeletal Ultrasound and Injections Techniques Workshop in Hong Kong.

Along with her RMSK credential Dr. Pineda is well-versed in the latest advances in musculoskeletal medicine. She is also a faculty member of MSKUS, an instructional group of medical professionals that specializes in the basic and advanced instructional education and advancement of musculoskeletal ultrasound guidance. She is consistently recognized by her peers as a top San Antonio doctor.
