Former EC-Council Circle of Excellence Winner Nabs ATC of the Year Award
Columbia, MD (PRWEB) October 22, 2014 -- After four straight years of being named to the EC-Council’s Circle of Excellence, Phoenix TS, the internationally-acclaimed computer training provider, took home the 2014 ATC of the Year award for all North America.
“We could not be happier,” said Firoozeh Azarbaidjani-Do, co-founder and president of Phoenix TS. “This is an enormous honor and a testament to the great trainers we have in the classroom and the team we have working behind the scenes every day to make sure classes run smoothly.”
EC-Council only selects one Accredited Training Center from each of their major geographical markets to hold this honor. Each market is home to hundreds of ATCs and the EC-Council makes their ATC of the Year selection based on the center that provides exemplary information security training courses for their certifications such as Certified Ethical Hacker, Certified Incident Handler and much more.
“We take great pride in our cybersecurity education programs and we are constantly working to provide training in the latest tools and techniques that our nation’s cyber warriors need. We feel that creating a prepared cyber workforce is necessary to preventing and quickly responding to today’s security breaches and we want to make sure that companies are effectively prepared for this with the right training,” said Azarbaidjani-Do.
Founded in 1998, Phoenix TS provides quality customized and off-the-shelf, instructor-led technical and end-user training services around the world. The company’s management has utilized its more than 30 years of combined experience in training and consulting to provide organizations like DISA, the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force with the most effective training possible. The company’s instructors have also successfully trained more than 80,000 professionals from nearly every government agency, both in the U.S. and abroad, and commercial corporation.
Concluded Azarbaidjani-Do, “As the cybersecurity landscape changes, we also adjust to reflect the differences and we are proud to be recognized as leaders in this field. We strive for our students to be ahead of the curve as much as possible so that they can be impactful in their cybersecurity roles of manager, investigator, defender or offensive hacker.”
