SkinViva Training Introduces Post-Training Support Options
Manchester (PRWEB UK) 21 October 2014 -- Since its inception in 2013, SkinViva Training has demonstrated a clear commitment to helping its delegates to use the skills gained on their cosmetic treatment training course to build their own successful aesthetic treatments businesses.
In the last year, the Company has continued to work closely with those that have attended their course to learn non-surgical cosmetic injections. Now SkinViva Training are announcing a range of post-training support options to aid and assist delegates at whatever level is required.
Business Development Director, Lee Cottrill, explains:
“Sometimes when you’ve gone away after the course, a question pops up that you wish you’d asked. We’re always keen to stress that we’re very much here for you as and when these questions arise, whether it be straight after the course or months into the future.”
“Part of SkinViva Training’s reason-for-being is to increase the standard of training for injectable treatments, such as Botox, and so we take the aftercare of our training delegates seriously.”
After completion of a training course, delegates are provided with a password to the ‘downloads’ section, which offers a series of forms and template documents/tools including template consent forms and aftercare advice for patients as well as marketing collateral.
The company also provides a helpline for all training delegates and aims to provide a helpful response to any question that might arise – whether clinical, business, or general – from their clinic and head office based team.
Delegates are also encouraged to participate in a closed Facebook Trainee Network group which has become a very active and useful forum for practitioners with all levels of experience to share advice and tips, debate clinical questions and discuss business issues. It is also a valuable resource for networking and keeping in contact with fellow delegates.
For those who wish to receive more exposure and learning to build their confidence prior to carrying out treatments, there are a range of additional courses designed to build practitioner skills with a careful combination of aesthetic and anatomical theory together with extensive supervised practical sessions.
A new addition to the post-training support options is shadowing – spending 3 hours following an experienced SkinViva doctor as he or she performs a series of consultations and treatments on patients.
The ultimate in post-training support is a one to one training and coaching session with Dr Tim Pearce Pearce MBChB BSc (hons) MRCGP, Clinical Director of SkinViva and SkinViva Training. This is a popular option for advanced learning on the more complex procedures where risk of complications can higher and indeed where achieving that great result is harder to achieve.
Dr Tim describes the post-training launch options as the start of a journey:
“At SkinViva Training, we view our courses as the starting point. For example, our Foundation Course has been formulated to provide a very important grounding in the most important skills; but there are a range of more advanced courses to pursue after that.”
“Learning is a life-long process for anybody. That’s why we provide a post-training telephone advice service as well as downloadable documents, forums and one-to-one support to help our delegates to continually improve their skills and knowledge and be part of our commitment to raising the standards of the whole industry.”
Their SkinViva Training School was established in 2013 in order to teach best practice skills and techniques to other medical professionals. It is a specialist, professionally-led clinical training delivering training in non-surgical cosmetic treatments to Doctors, Nurses, Midwives and Dentists wishing to develop high standards of cosmetic injection skills and knowledge.
