HMHP to Raise Awareness with ‘Pink Hair Day’
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (PRWEB) October 21, 2014 -- Humility of Mary Health Partners will raise awareness about breast cancer and the importance of regular screening mammograms by holding “Pink Hair for the Cure Day” Oct. 24 at all three hospitals – St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngtown, St. Joseph Health Center in Warren and St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center in Boardman.
Stylists from Déjà vu Salon, which is located inside Aria Salon in Boardman, will be at the hospitals selling pink hair extensions from 8 to 10 a.m.
The hair extensions cost $10 with 50% of the proceeds benefiting the Joanie Abdu Comprehensive Breast Care Center and the St. Joseph Cancer Center.
At St. Elizabeth, a stylist will be outside the cafeteria. At St. Joseph a stylist will be in the main lobby. At St. Elizabeth Boardman a stylist will be outside the café.
