EPA Head Gina McCarthy to Speak at Georgetown University Friday

The Honorable Gina McCarthy will give the keynote address at a Georgetown University conference titled, "The Power of Opinion: How Americans’ Preferences on Energy Point a Way Forward on Climate Change."

U.S. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY Administrator Gina McCarthy will speak on the future of energy and the environment at Georgetown’s 2014 LEAD Conference Oct. 24.

The talk is a part of the third annual McCourt School of Public Policy conference called LEAD, which stands for Leadership, Evidence, Analysis and Debate.

Called The Power of Opinion: How Americans’ Preferences on Energy Point a Way Forward on Climate Change, this year’s conference will explore how American public opinion may be key to unlocking a politically viable path forward on energy policy and climate change.
