Versio Engaged by Jamestown Family Health Clinic for Epic EHR Rollout
Renton, WA (PRWEB) October 23, 2014 -- As a part of the Providence Health & Services Community Connect program, the Jamestown Family Health Clinic in Sequim, WA, will be transitioning to the Epic EHR to better share patient data among regional healthcare providers. Jamestown will partner with Olympic Medical Center, the nearest hospital to the clinic.
Versio was engaged by the clinic to migrate critical patient data into the new system during their implementation. Medications, allergies, and problems are examples of critical data sets that will be migrated into Epic. Versio’s history of producing complete and accurate records has supported Providence’s own Epic deployments over the last three years. “Most migration companies cannot capture all of the data, nor can they accurately reflect the patient story. That is not acceptable in healthcare, so Versio found a better way.” said Versio’s CEO Lisa Pike. “The patients represented in medical records are our families, neighbors, and colleagues. We believe everyone deserves a complete and totally accurate health record. We are very proud to have been chosen as a partner in this important project.”
