"By working with us, companies are assured that their data collection and carbon calculations are accurate and consistent with existing protocols.” - Matt Wood, VP of Consulting, Mosaic Labs
BOULDER, CO (PRWEB) October 23, 2014
Mosaic Labs announced today that it is preparing for the 2015 CDP response season following the release of the CDP S&P 500 Annual Report last month. The company has provided CDP support for six years to S&P 500 respondents, helping companies to achieve an average of a 20-25% increase in total disclosure score.
CDP is the largest repository of corporate climate data in the world. The UK-based non-profit has been requesting and collecting climate change data from the largest companies across the globe for more than a decade and its annual CDP Climate Change program gathers data on corporate actions with regard to emissions from both the Global and S&P 500.
Since 2008, Mosaic Labs has been supporting companies in responding to CDP’s request, providing these companies with expertise in carbon accounting, disclosure reporting, and environmental narrative development, and has helped hundreds of companies to respond while simultaneously improving their score.
“The CDP response can be a sizeable task for companies to take on themselves,” said Matt Wood, VP of Consulting for Mosaic Labs. “We provide the heavy lifting for these companies, while also providing subject-matter expertise in carbon accounting. By working with us, companies are assured that their data collection and carbon calculations are accurate and consistent with existing protocols.”
The Boulder-based firm provides CDP response services to both CDP Climate Change members in the S&P and Global 500, but also to suppliers via the CDP Supply Chain program. On average, companies working with Mosaic Labs increase their CDP disclosure response score by 20-25% over what they are able to achieve on their own.
