Dallas Home Builder Presents Check To Homes For Hope, An International Non-Profit Organization

CEO of Grand Homes, Stephen Brooks, donates over $300,000 to organization working to alleviate poverty in some of the poorest countries around the world. Grand Homes is a multiple year winner of the prestigious Consumers’ Choice Award.

“The proceeds from our Homes for Hope have put over $3 Million dollars in the hands of the poor around the world. I can’t imagine a more effective use of our talents as a company,” said Mr. Brooks.

At a recent check presentation ceremony at their corporate office, local home builder Stephen Brooks, CEO of Grand Homes, presented non-profit organization, Homes for Hope with a check of $300,156.58 following the completion of their most recent Home for Hope.

Grand Homes, along with their trade partners, constructed this home with the goal of donating the proceeds from the sale of the home to Homes for Hope, a non-profit organization that, together with HOPE International, provides financial resources and support to help alleviate physical and spiritual poverty in 17 developing countries around the world.

“The proceeds from our Homes for Hope have put over $3 Million dollars in the hands of the poor around the world. I can’t imagine a more effective use of our talents as a company,” said Mr. Brooks.

Founded in 1999, Homes for Hope works within the homebuilding industry, forming partnerships with builders and their trade partners to create revenue-generating projects – “homes for hope” – which provide financial support for HOPE International’s microeconomic development programs across the globe. To date, homebuilders and trade partners around the country have completed 89 homes, raising over $10 million in charitable contributions. With their assistance, HOPE has been able to offer an estimated 1 million loans aimed at breaking the cycle of poverty for aspiring entrepreneurs in 17 countries around the world.
