d-Wise Expands Healthcare Practice with addition of Chief Medical Officer and Advanced Analytics Expert
Morrisville, NC (PRWEB) October 27, 2014 -- To meet the ever-evolving demands of the healthcare landscape, d-Wise has added new talent with vast experience in enterprise healthcare data strategy, warehousing and analytics to their team. Geoffrey Seidel, MD, joins d-Wise as their new Chief Medical Officer in the Healthcare Practice, and Frank Papa Ph.D. joins d-Wise as a Senior Consultant, specializing in Advanced Analytics.
“The market is looking for exceptional and experienced healthcare leaders to deliver transformational ideas centered on advanced analytics, and predictive modeling to facilitate decision-making, improve quality of healthcare, mitigate risk and increase profitability. There are many options when it comes to choosing technology platforms and management consulting firms, but it is rare to find firm who can formulate strategy, offer technology-agnostic execution and integrate a variety of systems.” said Joe Randazzo, VP of d-Wise Healthcare Practice. “We’re currently working on a number of exciting initiatives, like using analytics to indicate a patient likely to be having an undiagnosed CHF event while in the hospital, or optimizing the impact of care management initiatives for health plans,” Joe added.
With over 25 years’ experience in applying data and analytics to problems in healthcare, these new team members bring an advanced perspective to d-Wise’s capabilities. Delivering outstanding quality and service to patients is supported through efficient healthcare IT, rich data and advanced analytic models. Adopting a broader approach that incorporates a data strategy, proven analytics, workflow and the human factors that affect the reliability and usability of health IT is the cornerstone of the d-Wise healthcare practice.
